In the past we believed #systemsthinking (ST) was a stepwise process. Today, it is now clear that it is an emergent property of very simple rules that can be combined and recombined, mixed and matched to develop increasingly complex, robust, and reality-aligned mental models. That means ST is actually an emergent property of simple d, s, r, p rules. Each of these four “patterns of thought” are made up of two interacting and co-implying elements. #systemsthinkingmadesimple #CAS #cabreraresearch #systemsthinkingdaily
